BUNNIES GYMNASTICS CAMP (3.5 - 5 yrs) Due to our most popular preschool program, this is one of the most requested camps—our Bunnies Camp. Available to our younger friends, ages 3.5—5 years, Bunnies Camp is a gymnastics camp providing exposure to equipment featured in classes. Children will use bars, beams, springboards and spring floors, just like the older gymnasts; only here the equipment is scaled down to their size. Specialty equipment like crayon beams, silly beams, preschool bars, preschool rings, along with many theme related props are designed to enhance the theme of each camp day. Bunnies Camp focuses on social development, as will as cognitive and gross motor skills development. Our experienced, safety certified staff play creative, educational games and provide a fun stimulating environment. Bring a bathing suit and towel for water activities on Friday.

PIRATES CAMP (4 - 9 yrs.) Arrr-matey! It’s out to sea we go! Attention all scallywags and explorers: Is your child interested in sailing the seven seas, swinging on a rope, dropping into the sea, and building their own pirate ship? What about using a compass and solving the clues to find the map which leads to the buried treasure? These are just a few of the adventures every sailor will experience, after they sign their name to the list of crewmen and follow the Pirates Code. Conquer the seven seas and find the “X” which marks the spot of the Horizon treasure. Camp includes story telling and educational history of real historical pirates. Our little pirates will have the use of navigational equipment like telescopes, compasses and binoculars. They will make their own map, design their own pirate’s flag and solve daily clues to narrow down their search and find the chest of gold. Bring a bathing suit and towel for water activities on Friday.

JUST BEING A KID CAMP (4 - 12 yrs) Do you want your child to run, jump, laugh, play and just have fun? If you answered yes, then Just Being A Kid Camp is the camp for you. This high energy camp is geared to wear your child out. Coaches will make use of all the equipment, mats and accessories available at Horizon to make sure that each camper has a blast. Our jam packed itinerary is sure to tucker out the most enthusiastic child. Our itinerary will include inflatable bouncers, forts, trampolines, jumping in the foam pit, dodge ball, jump rope, hula hoops and of course outside activities like side walk chalk, hiking, sports games and water adventures. Boy, can we pack a ton of fun into 5 days of camp at Horizon! Bring a bathing suit and towel for water activities on Friday.

Cooking Camp (4 - 12 yrs.) A pinch of this and a lot of that! Does your child like to spend time in the kitchen with you (or grandma) helping cook? If so, this camp is perfect for them. They will spend the week learning how to make easy, no bake meals with a hands-on opportunity to cook. Their creations will taste so good, it will satisfy everyone’s appetite. Foods include main dishes, appetizers and everyone’s favorite—desserts. All ingredients are provided and favorite recipes will be shared. All cooking campers will leave with their own cookbook at the end of camp on Friday, complete with their favorite recipes—a great gift for you or anyone. Bring a bathing suit and a towel for water activities on Friday.

MY DOLLY AND ME CAMP (4-10 yrs) Have your American girl bring her favorite doll to camp and play “American Doll” every day of the camp. Filled with bonding activities, campers will work with their friends and decorate wicker hats, and learn to crochet scarves, for both themselves and their dolls. Other early American hand crafts will be introduced such as: embroidery, hand sewing a denim purse and decorating it with buttons, ribbons and jewels, and painting an apron for their doll and themselves. In addition to crafts, there will be plenty of playtime for both your girl and their doll as well as picnics outside. Story time will include reading from favorite American doll books. LEGO CAMP (ages 4 - 12 yrs) Is your child a young engineer? Do they enjoy spending hours building with Lego and K’nex pieces? If so, then sign them up today for Lego Camp. Campers will use their creative imagination and build skyscrapers, vehicles, and other gadgets, using different Lego building supplies. Each day campers will be challenged with new architecture design opportunities. Camper exhibits available for parental viewing at the end of each day, providing young designers an opportunity to show off their creations. Building supplies will change daily, but will feature Legos, K’nex & wooden blocks. What a fun way to use imagination and creativity! Bring a bathing suit and towel for water activities on Friday.
